Women's basketball: Wilkowski nominated for the Jostens Trophy

Wilkowski travels to Salem, VA as one of the twelve finalists.

Shortly after the Piper women's basketball season ended, Junior center Mary Wilkowski received a shocking e-mail. The message said that she, along with only 12 other Division III women's basketball players across the country, was a finalist for the Jostens Trophy.

Baseball: Pipers swept in season opener

Team still dusting off the cobwebs, has young talent.

The Hamline baseball team kicked off their season last Tuesday, March 1 with a pair of late-night Metrodome games against 22nd ranked St. Scholastica. Hamline lost both games, 6-2 and 10-2 respectively. The Pipers return eight of nine starters from last year's team with the loss being star shortstop, '09 alum Dan Kaczrowski.

Track & Field: Indoor season concludes at Carleton

Men finish second; women seventh, four Pipers win events

Last weekend at Carleton for the MIAC Indoor Championships, Hamline's men and women's track teams were edged out by St. Thomas. Losing by only seven points, the men's team had four of its team members place first in individual events. The women's team placed seventh overall in the tournament.
